Linux JDK for Arm

Greetings,
I would like to know if anyone can help me find a way to get a working JDK 
on my PXA27X Mainstone Board working on Linux.
I have tried various versions of jdk (1.1.7 , 1.1.8 version 1,2 and 3 for 
linux-arm)but is giving errors while compiling java application.
