Yes, definitely loaded:

I took Giulio's advice and downloaded the 5/iR "driver" from
support.dell.com under PE860/RHEL4: mptlinux-3.02.63-5.dkms.tgz
# rpm -qi mptlinux
Name : mptlinux Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 3.02.63 Vendor: LSI
Release : 5dkms Build Date: Wed 13 Sep 2006
06:23:46 AM NZST
Install Date: Tue 21 Nov 2006 05:49:57 PM NZDT Build Host:
localhost.localdomain
Group : System Environment/Base Source RPM:
mptlinux-3.02.63-5dkms.src.rpm
Size : 12976403 License: GPL
Signature : (none)
Packager : Eric Moore <Eric.Moore at lsil.com>
Summary : mptlinux dkms package
Description :
This package contains LSI's mptlinux module wrapped for the DKMS framework.
Which installed a source tree to /usr/src/mptlinux-3.02.63
I'm not sure how to build this correctly, so I just ran make in lsiutil/
and the resulting tool, lsiutil, works perfectly.
I would still like to know how to perform the monitoring with omsa and
also how to build and install lsitool correctly. I probably need to
install the kernel source from RPM (I thought I did - it's in
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-42.0.3.EL-smp-i686).
Thanks for your help. If you could shed any light on monitoring with
omsa, or alternatively how to install lsitool correctly, I'd really
appreciate that.
