# lspci

The information there can be cross referenced with

http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/iii/?i=1028

These are adaptec percs

0001 PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 2/Si
0002 PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 3/Di
0003 PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 3/Si
0006 PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 3/Di

The rest should be LSI perc controllers

Lsi perc information can be ascertained by the use of dellmgr
http://ftp.us.dell.com/scsi-raid/perc-apps-A09.tar.gz

Basically, it gives you access to the raid bios (ctrl+m) without having
to reboot.

Adaptec percs have a CLI Interface...

Some docs for it are located here...

Subject: Obtaining Perc Info

Hello,

I am trying to figure out which Perc3 controller is in my PowerEdge
2550.
Running Redhat ES 3. The usual linux locations just say 'Perc3 RAID
5'.

We're trying to get the manufacturer and more detail on the card itself.
I can't reboot the box, so waiting for the BIOS is more than a ways down
the road. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
--Josh
