Experiences with Linux perc5i?

We're looking into some dell servers using the "PowerEdge RAID Controller
5/I". I checked the tldp for a list of supported hardware but I don't see it
mentioned - seems the list is rather out of date. If anyone has any good /
bad experiences using these, I would appreciate your comments.
