RAID monitoring

Hi,

a question about howto monitor your RAID health status.

I've allready installed the whole opemanager suite from the yum repo and a
couple of new services are added during boot but is there a good howto to
follow? The readme file in the /etc/openmanage dir says to check the Dell
CD  for documentation but I used the repo and have no CD.

Or other alternative software for RAID monitoring is also  welcome. (like
ideal would be to recieve an email when a HD needs replacement).
