The problem is that the RAID on the CERC SATA 2s is not supported in
Linux . It's actually a driver-based RAID, for which no Linux driver
exists (unless you use Adaptec's closed-source driver, which Dell
doesn't support/provide). If you want to use RAID on that controller,
you'll need to use Linux OS RAID.
Unconfiguring the RAID and rewriting GRUB to sda will probably solve
your problem

After I install RH4 update 2, the reboot fails. The display says
BIOS Installed Sucessfully!

The system does not boot. The controller is CERC Sata 2S. The HDs are
2x160 GB Samsung HD160JJ/P in a RAID 0 configuration. The array is
marked bootable. I am using 1 logical volume.
Any help is most appreciated.
