[OT] About Ubuntu and is LTS

Hi to all:

A bit off-topic :)

As some of you, I have some PowerEdge running Debian or Ubuntu. Now Canonical has released Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Long Term Support) and has been awarded with a PC World 2006 World Class Award [0].

I hope some day Dell will be agree to support Ubuntu. My experience shows me that today, the highest problems ( and not a lot of problems! ) that I can have with PowerEdges/storage/backup drives are hardware related with a little exceptions about some combinations of firmware/dirvers., but actually, the kernels are very 'standard' between distros. The bigger problem is to convince technical support that a related problem is not about the distro :P

All of you using Debian in PowerEdge: If Dell says 'Well, we agree to accept PowerEdges running Ubuntu', You will jump to this distro?
