The fwupdate project looks promising. I'm still sad that Dell
discontinued its SNAP CD - that was by far the best way (IMHO) to go
about doing firmware/BIOS updates. A CD that updates everything on
the system automagically is certainly the easiest way to go about it.
If you ask me, the SUU tools they make you use nowadays are complete
garbage...it needs a running OS, uses java (?!?) for total slowness,
and inexplicably fails/hangs at least half of the time. Oh yeah, and
you need to be running OMSA (which we can't for performance reasons)
for it to update the BIOS. Geez, thanks for nothing, Dell.
