Ext3 file system limit under 2.6 kernel

Hello all,

I'm experiencing some strange simptoms on a Dell AX-100 storage where I
have a logical disk greater than 2 TB.

Whenever I create a logical disk in the AX-100 with a 2.173 TB size, a
"mke2fs" command creates a 130 GB file system, this is strange. I tested
with sizes up to 1 TB and everything worked fine.

So I'd like to ask if someone is aware of any file system limits under
the 2.6 Linux kernel.

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux v4 (no updates applied yet)
Hardware: Dell PE-2850 with a QLogic HBA
Storage: Dell AX-100 with a 2.173 TB logical disk

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Celso.
