Are you going to release your package(s) publicly? Have you done any
documentation of the packaging process itself?

I'm working on packaging OMSA 5 as well, but the work is currently stalled
because of my involvement in a major J2EE software project. I will be
working on my OMSA5 packaging project the last two weeks of August and
attend to get at least the base packages repackaged as deb packages. Any
documentation/contributions/tips would be highly appreciated. Of course, if
you have done it all already, I guess I wont have to do it anymore... ;-)
