Hi,

I'm working on getting the dell omsa 5.0 tools working on debian/sarge
(with at the end nice
debian package).

Doing so i encontered some weird behaviors.

* On systems with an ERA/0 DRAC3 (1750) card i'm able to use racser
which create
a virtual ppp interface to the card and communicate with it using the
 racadm -r <ip> -u <user> -p .. command
But still even if it shutdown racser i cannot use racadm locally it just
fail:
Ex on still unconfigured board:
racadm -r 192.168.234.236 -u root -p calvin localauthenable
localauthenable setting is TRUE

racadm localauthenable
localauthenable setting is TRUE

* On a more recnt system (1850, drac 4) i don't have this problem but
instead the storage
part doesn't work. It's a PERC4 board with a RAID1 array which isn't
detected.

# omreport storage controller
No controllers found

# omdiag storage -?

omdiag Executes component diagnostics.

The available command(s) are:

Command Description
Exception in thread "DiagnosticEngine" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:
initialize
        at
com.dell.diagnostic.obj.diagcontroller.DiagnosticController.initialize(Native
Method)
        at
com.dell.diagnostic.vendor.diagcontroller.DiagControllerDiagnosticVendor.<init>(DiagControllerDiagnosticVendor.java:129)
        at
com.dell.diagnostic.engine.DiagnosticEngine.run(DiagnosticEngine.java:290)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
<and the command hang here>

If someone has idea of the problems ...
Btw dell_rbu and dcdbas are correctly loaded, the kernel is the debian
stock 2.4.27-3-686-smp and
ipmi isn't activated.
