Debian on a PowerEdge 1950

Following a RAID card failure and the huge fiasco getting the parts from
Dell I ended up re-loading Debian on one of the PE 1950's I have been
working on.

I submitted a crib that if followed resolved the boot failure issue
after the install.... However! I must be either blind, stupid or both
as the procedure I developed is not actually needed.

If you install Etch and go through the menus at the point where it
installs the base system and selects the Kernel just select YAIRD for
the boot loader at this point and whatever Kernel you choose, in my case
it was 2.6.15-1-686.smp. Restart and its all go.

O.K. I must have just sailed past this point during the initial installs
not even thinking as I don't normally use YAIRD.

I have to admit I am doing a Homer..... Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh!
