OK it turns out that if you install with the following OM runs up and 
works fine on a blade

~/linux/supportscripts/srvadmin-install.sh -b
~/linux/supportscripts/srvadmin-install.sh -w
~/linux/supportscripts/srvadmin-install.sh -s
~/linux/supportscripts/srvadmin-install.sh -d
