dell dset error on CentOS 4.3 x86_64

I installed delldset_v1.1.bin on a CentOS 4.3 x86_64 server, and when I run
dellsysteminfo, it gets this error:

* Loading framework core ..........
* Collecting Dell hardware info ...
tail: +: invalid number of lines

And all of the parts of the report that depend on omreport can't gather any
information (the files in data/chassis are empty).


delldset_v1.1.bin works perfectly on a CentOS 4.3 i386 server.  Is this an
x86_64 problem or something particular to my server?  Anything I can try to
fix it manually?
