That is the most probable reason for the degraded LD. You should be able
to look at the PDs in the BIOS as well to determine which is the failed
drive.

I have a server (its actually an HP netserver but it uses an
LSI/Megaraid card with the exact same SCSI BIOS menu as on the Dell PERC
cards). When the server boots up and the Raid card scans the Logical
Drive, it reports that it is degraded. And when I go in the SCSI BIOS
to view configuration, it also says there that the logical drive has
degraded. What does this mean and what can I do? Does this mean that a
drive has failed?
