2850 freezing, leaving nothing in logs

Yes, and also with 4600s. There's been a similar issue posted on the
list some time ago, where (just as with my 4600s) the network gave link
down/up messages without actually being so for a while pre-freeze.

No real solution found, but I've upgraded the kernel on the 4600s, and
haven't seen it since. Yet, that is... *goes and has a look at the
consoles* Nope, nothing as of yet :-)
