That's odd. It works fine on SLES 10, however I haven't used it with
Suse 10. Can you tell me which storage controller you have in the
system? I.e. is it a PERC 5/I or a SAS 5/I?

I realize Dell does not support this, but I was attempting to install
Suse 10.0 or 10.1 on a Dell PowerEdge 1950. The installation fails since
Suse 10 does not recognize any of the hard disks. Strangely, when I ask
Suse for a system inventory (detect hardware) the hard disks and
controller show up just fine.
Has anyone encountered this with Suse or another Linux distribution?
Anyone know what the problem is?
Sincerely,
- Henrik
