I don't want to.

The more verbose answer is that I'm loathe to install anything I don't
have the source code for.  Particularly something that'll require root
priviliges as diagnostic tools would.  I'm more than a little peeved
that Dell won't release the source code for these tools.

A minor sub-answer is that by running a 64-bit only system I make life a
little bit tougher for anybody that might manage to gain access and
attempt privilege escalation by using uploaded binaries, which are most
likely going to be 32-bit.  Hardly a massive security benefit (and one
that'll diminish with time), but every little bit helps.
