RHEL 5 and PHP?

At this point, RHEL5 is not yet in public beta.  However, to get a
feel for what it may (or may not) contain eventually, look at Fedora
development (and/or the CDs of FC6test1) which is publicly available.
I would expect RHEL5 to contain a very similar set of core packages as
what is in Fedora.

Fedora development contains php-5.1.4-8.src.rpm.
