  Not a good sign.

  Does the RAID controller identify itself during the BIOS/POST
process?  You should see a copyright banner and a prompt for a key
press.

  Try re-seating the adapter card, RAM, and/or RAID key (depending on
which ones you have).  Make sure you remove all power, including any
cache battery, first.
