Hi All,

I am setting up a Centos 3 box to use OMSA 5.0 (or hoping to) and after
installing all the rpms from the yum repo
(http://linux.dell.com/repo/software/) and running the
srvadmin-services.sh start command, here is what I get.

# srvadmin-services.sh start
Starting Systems Management Device Drivers:
Starting dell_rbu: [ OK ]
Starting ipmi driver: [FAILED]
Starting Systems Management Device Drivers:
Starting dell_rbu: Already started [ OK ]
Starting ipmi driver: [FAILED]
Starting DSM SA Shared Services: [ OK ]

Starting DSM SA Connection Service: [ OK ]

Does anyone know why ipmi failed? It rpm installed fine with dkms.

Are their more services that should be started? If so, anyone know how
to enable them?

Thanks,

Paul
