Possibly stupid question regarding Debian OMSA 5.1

Have installed OMSA 5.1 on a PE1950 from Sander Keemink and Bas van der
Vlies's repository. The install seemed to go through without hitch. Im not
interested in the web interface, and only really want to use the CLI to
access temperature/chassis status. However I seem to be unable to be
recognised as Admin level. Logged in as root:
testhost:# /opt/dell/srvadmin/oma/bin/omconfig preferences useraccess
enable=user
User access rights set successfully.
testhost:# /opt/dell/srvadmin/oma/bin/omreport chassis -?
omreport Reports component properties.
The available command(s) are:
Command Description
Error! User has insufficient privileges to run command.
Have tried modding /opt/dell/srvadmin/iws/config/users.ini - but seem to be
getting no where. Any hints? (am expecting that Im overlooking something
completely obvious here..)
Regards
