mail server raid level

Hi, 

I'm getting ready to set up a dell 2650 with 4 gigs of ram and four 70+ gig
hard drives as a mail server. 
This mail server will support about 8,000 unique mail users. I'm thinking of
going with RAID 5 on this, even though I know my write performance might
suffer.

Do you guys think RAID 5 is really the ideal setup for a mail server and
what stripping size would you recommend.
