Changing the stripe size should not be destructive. However, like any
reconfiguration operation it will take a while and may put your data at
risk if a disk is lost while the operation is in progress. I would
recommend backing up your data before performing any reconfiguration
operation.

Subject: changing controller stripsize
Can anyone tell me if using omconfig to change the stripsize on a Perc
4e/Di controller with a RAID 10 array is destructive (from64KB to 128KB
if that's important)? I'm guessing it is and that the array would have
to be rebuilt, I'd just like a definitive answer without having to risk
losing my data by experimenting :) I've searched through the Dell doc's
I could find on this but can't see anything that answers this exactly.
Cian
