Subject: SBE Log Disabled
We are running RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 3 (2.4.21-20.ELsmp) on a
PE2850 for about 8 months without any problems. This morning I saw an
amber light flashing and the LCD says "SBE Log Disabled" ... the
command "dmesg" shows (a lot of) this error message "ide-scsi: The scsi
wants to send us more data than expected - discarding data; ide-scsi: [[
12 0 0 0 5f 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ]"
I am not sure what's causing this and was originally guessing it was the
virtual devices (cdrom and floppy). However i read another thread and
other people have been using those virtual devices no problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom
