any way to disable hyper-threading from CLI?

The Kernel only recently added experimental hotplug controller support.
So there really is no telling what this would do to a running system to
suddenly loose a processor (even if it is only a virtual one). Sorry but
I don't see a reliable way to do this to a running system.

no, one can also disable in the BIOS via:

	BIOS -> CPU Info -> Disable Logical Processor

so i was hoping this was accessible via some tool.
