i was hoping i could disable this via OMSA, but i haven't been able to
find anything that says that [and am hoping i simply missed it]
here's what 'omreport chassis processors' currently shows:
Processors Information
Health : Ok
Index : 0
Status : Ok
Connector Name : PROC_1
Processor Manufacturer : Intel
Processor Family : Xeon
Processor Version : Model 4 Stepping 3
Current Speed : 3200 MHz
External Clock Speed : 800 MHz
State : Present
Core Count : 1
Index : 1
Status : Ok
Connector Name : PROC_2
Processor Manufacturer : Intel
Processor Family : Xeon
Processor Version : Model 4 Stepping 3
Current Speed : 3200 MHz
External Clock Speed : 800 MHz
State : Present
Core Count : 1
and i want to change the 'Stepping' value to be 1
