More Open Manage questions if i may. It is becoming highly likely that
we are going to start to virtualise our app server infrastructure and
this is going to involve installing ESX Server 3.x (whatever is stable
when we start this) which is basically a stripped out version of RedHat
as far as i'm aware.

We are currently running the 2.x version of this and the following info
is available to me about things that may allow OM to run

[root at devvmware01 root]# rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-headers-2.4.9-34
kernel-2.4.9-e.68
kernel-smp-2.4.9-e.68

[root at devvmware01 root]# uname -a
Linux devvmware01 2.4.9-vmnix2 #1 Fri Mar 31 17:10:07 PST 2006 i686
unknown

Has anyone ever got OpenManage running on a ESX server and what do
people feel are the liklyhood of me being able to achieve this as
monitoring of our hardware underlying these virtual machines is still
required.
