Dell PE1850/2850 RAID array issue with RHEL4

I've just had a similar problem on a poweredge 2850 with 6 disks in  
RAID10, also running RHEL4 U3 (x86_64)
It's the only server where the kernel was upgraded (22 days ago) to  
2.6.9-34.0.1.ELsmp.

Did you by any chance also upgrade to that kernel ?

This machine is pretty toasted, can't become root, and the FS seems  
to be in a RO state.

I'm investigating as we speak, let me know if you find anything out...
