Bigmem kernel

Hello everyone,

I am a proud owner of a shiny new Dell 6650 with 16gig memory. Currently I
have RH AS 3.0 Kernel 2.4.21-15.0.4 SMP
installed.


I have a task to combine 5 Oracle  databases from another server into one
on this one. I will need a SGA space
of about 6 gig. Do I need run the bigmem kernel to do this? If so where do
I get it.
