The blk: queue messages are harmless informational messages put into
the block layer for the benefit of the kernel developers. They have
subsequently been removed in most recent kernels on kernel.org.
As for what is walking all the adapters looking for devices, my guess
would be that the OMSA On-line diagnostics service is doing that.
