Install the tg3 driver for the BCM57xx NIC. Once it is insmod'd you should
be able to configure the card without any hassles. If you have problems,
drop me an e-mail off-list.

Subject: I need help ver badly

Hi,

I have purchased 1750 PowerEdge with Broadcomm Embedded Ethernet controller
and one pci-x Ethernet controller.

I have installed Linux 7.3 2.4.18-5 kernel, because I want to install
Checkpoint firewall-1 NG AI [Application Intelligence]. The NG-AI will work
only with above kernel.

I am unable to install Firewall Software, because the linux does not
recognize the broadcomm card, unless I fix this I cannot install the
firewall.

Kindly can any one help me?

I have broadcomm 5704 chipset.

Dell 1750
Dual Xenon processor with 2 GB RAM

If you need any further information please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Thulasi
