I would recommend against the advise to go with less than the max amps. When
you power up systems there is a surged to fill capacitance inside the
system. Going less could cause you boot time problems, or (assuming no
backup power) tripped circuits if there is a power outtage and all the
systems come online at once.. Marginal/dirty power is a severe pain as it
causes odd behaviour all over the environment.
Better safe than sorry..
