chkconfig racser off
This will turn the service off for boot and not loadup.

How do I do this,exactly?  I replaced the racser file (in /etc/rc.d/init.d)
with the one you provided yesterday, but I don't know how to make sure
racser.o isn't being loaded, if that is something different.

I'm running Red Hat 9, kernel 2.4.20-20.9smp.  OMSA Version 3.4.0 (works
perfectly).  I do not know how to tell what version of racadm I am running.
And if I wanted to update the RAC firmware, where can I download the latest
version?

And at what point do I just call Dell Support and let them debug/solve the
problem?
