Hi,
I have a question regarding OMSA on a debian system: it all installed
very well, the esm module is loaded on one of my PE350's, but I can't
get dcstor32d to run. When I start dellomsa with dellomsa start, I get
the following result:
champagne:/# dellomsa start
Starting network management services: snmpd snmptrapd.
Starting Server Administrator Instrumentation:
Starting dcstor32d:
Starting dcevt32d:
Starting dcsnmp32d:
But when I ps aux | grep dc, I get this:
root 24689 0.0 0.2 3648 552 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcevt32d
root 24692 0.0 0.2 5960 728 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcsnmp32d
root 24696 0.0 0.2 3648 552 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcevt32d
root 24697 0.0 0.2 5960 728 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcsnmp32d
root 24700 0.0 0.2 3648 552 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcevt32d
root 24701 0.0 0.2 5960 728 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcsnmp32d
root 24702 0.0 0.2 5960 728 ? S 16:00 0:00
/usr/sbin/dcsnmp32d
No dcstor32d. As it seems to use threads, I can't get much information
from strace or gdb. Is there a debug function or anything, to help my
figure out why it won't start?
Kind Regards,
Frank Louwers
