Reset a service tag

Is it possible to reset a service tag number on a PowerEdge server??

The reason that I ask is i recently had my motherboard swapped out in one
of my 2650 servers, and now it reports it's service tag as "serv"  I want
to set this to the service tag of the chassis.

Is this possible??

 (I'm running RH7.2, Not using OMSA. I'm looking at the service tag using
snmpwalk.)
