Suse 8.1 aacraid hang on PE 2650 with 3/Di RAID

The machine I'm trying to install Suse 8.1 on
 is a PE 2650
 with 3/Di embedded RAID		BIOS 2.7-1 [Build 3170]
 and a 3/DC add on external RAID	BIOS 3.27  Apr 29 2002

I want to boot off the 3/Di internal raid mirror.

Just a quick update, Suse 8.0 goes on without a problem.

Whether it's ACPI or tg3 or aacraid, but 8.1 got problems.
