dd if=aic7xxx-6.2.10.img of=/dev/fd0
or you can grab rpm from Justin Gibb's
website and load latest 6.3.3 version
and it builds everything in the background
for you.

Pick version appropriate to your distribution
and the version you want.

I just downloaded a new Adaptec driver for my server. I have uncompressed
the file and now I have a aic7xxx-6.2.10.img.
What do I do with a .img file?
