NFS problems with RH 9

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I manually fixed the speed and duplex in modules.conf and everything is fine now. Thank you everyone for all your help. 

I also found that my ftp test to test the network was wrong and therefore I reported that my ftp test was fine.

Venkat,

I strongly suggest you fix the speed and duplex on both your solaris box
and your switch port before debugging further. I have been down this path
before and it's almost always been duplex problems.

Don't believe what the switch and the solaris box tell you regarding
autonegotiated duplex, fix the speed and duplex to 100FDX and then
proceed.
