Can you switch back to the bcm5700 driver and see if the problem persists?

Edit /etc/modules.conf and change 'tg3' --> 'bcm5700' to affect the
change. Then, either (a) reboot or (b) take all ethX interfaces down,
rmmod tg3, ifup ethX.
