Hi,

I'm trying to figure out some "interesting" results i am getting on a 2550
running RH 7.3 with the afacli command.

enclosure show status

Enclosure
ID (B:ID:L) Slot scsiId Insert Status
----------- ---- ------ ------- ------------------------------------------
 0 0:06:0 0 0:00:0 1 OK ACTIVATE
 0 0:06:0 1 0:00:0 1 OK ACTIVATE
 0 0:06:0 2 0:01:0 0 OK EMPTY I/R READY NOTACTIVATE
 0 0:06:0 3 0:255:0 0 OK UNCONFIG EMPTY I/R READY NOTACTIVATE

Enclosure
ID (B:ID:L) Sensor Temperature Threshold Status
----------- ------ ----------- --------- --------
 0 0:06:0 0 -10 F 120 ABNORMAL
 0 0:06:0 1 67 F 120 ABNORMAL

the system has 2*9G disks in a perc raid1 mirror which seem to be working fine.
there are no amber lights, or other warnings. the bit that worries me a lot
is that it seems to think that slot0 and slot1 have the same scsi id. though
i am also puzzled as to why slot 2 and 3 have different values, given they
are both empty and have never had drives in them.

regards,

-jason
