Make sure you have the nfslock service running as well:

chkconfig nfslock on

You can also just run this command to start the service without rebooting:

service nfslock start

The chkconfig command is still needed to make it start at every boot.

Getting error mount clntudp_create:RPC: Program not registered
Running Advanced Server 2.1 on poweredge 2550, I have try the following
chkconfig portmap on
chkconfig iptables off
chkconfig ipchains off
reboot the system

Still getting the error Help Please
