Thanks to Mark's reply, I was able to successfully kickstart my 1650 with RH
7.2.
Last problem is that the system does not successfully boot after
installation completes (again, appears to be an aacraid issue).
In post install config, I added this line to modules.conf:
option aacraid aacraid_pciid=0x1028,0x0A,0x1028,0x011B
and created a new initrd:
mkinitrd -f /boot/initrd-<kernel_ver>.img <kernel_ver>
and then, just for good luck:
lilo
there are no error messages during post-config...
on reboot, the error message reads:
Loading sd_module
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2
Loading aacraid module
/lib/aacraid.o: invalid parameter parm_aacraid_pciid
ERROR: /bin/insmod exited abnormally!
ERROR: failed in exec of aacraid_pciid=0x1028,0x0A,0x1028,0x011B
ERROR: aacraid_pciid=0x1028,0x0A,0x1028,0x011B exited abnormally!
...
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.
There has to be some parameter or something that I am missing to configure
the aacraid stuff correctly...
Anyone?
Thanks-
Jay
