1650 and iANS

I'm configuring a few 1650's with Intel dual port 10/100 cards and the built in 10/100/1000 interfaces to use iANS. The machines are using Redhat 7.2 with kernel 2.4.9-31smp. It's not going as smoothly as I hoped and had a few questions.

First is the e1000 module correct for the built in interfaces on the 1650? Should I use the iANS rpm's given out a few months ago from Dell at: http://lists.us.dell.com/pipermail/linux-poweredge/2001-November/000723.html or the current files from Intel's site? Which are e1000-4.1.7.tar.gz, ians-1.6.30a.tar.gz, and e100-1.8.38.tar.gz.

My initial tests with a 1550 and it's internal interfaces has been working great. On the 1650 I tried using one internal 10/100/1000 interface and one 10/100 interface. Both are configured to use 100 full duplex. The activity light on the internal interface goes solid and quits passing any traffic. Ianscfg -s and dmesg show the interface to be up still. If I unplug the cable and plug it back in the interface works for an hour or so and locks up again.

Thanks,
Jeremy
