In the BIOS...light up the Num Lock, Caps Lock, & Scroll Lock keys on your
keyboard (they all should be lit green) and while holding down the ALT key,
hit E (i.e. ALT-E).  The server should beep once...now hit ALT-B to save
changes and reboot.   If this does not work then try pulling the jumper on
the system board that says either:  CLR_EISA or CLR_NVRAM.   See if these
two steps helps.

Once, during boot, I got a message that I had a fan failure. The boot did
not proceed.
 
After I attempted to boot again, it seem to have worked fine (more than a
month ago).
 
Since then, on every boot, the message Previous Fan Failure gets displayed
on the screen during POST.
 
I looked already in the BIOS and did not find a way to reset that message.
 
Any ideas?
