Redhat 7.1 doesnt officialy support ext3 yet.. 7.2 (currently in beta 2
stage) does.

For any detailed questions, my advice would be to go to the redhat ext3
mailing lists and/or check the bugzilla.redhat.com database for 'ext3'
bugs ;-)
