I'm getting a 'timed out' error:
nigel at laptop:~$ gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 8B9FBE5158B3AFA9
gpg: requesting key 58B3AFA9 from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error
