FWIW, I also have this same audio device and use that same kernel
version on an updated Fedora 7 on a D630, and I have sound... only
until I hibernate or suspend that is. But on Fedora 8 it's working OK,
even after suspend and hibernate.

So, in your case, I would try out a Fedora 8 live CD and/or reinstall
the OS on disk because you might have mixed some libs/modules already
with manual installs.
