Dell Systems & Red Hat Virtualization

Hello,

Later this year, I hope to purchase a machine for Linux and Windows
programming. I'd like to do run both operating systems at the same time.
To accomplish this I'm looking at the virtualization in Red Hat Enterprise
release 5. One of the hardware requirements to this end is using an Intel
chip with VMX or an AMD chip with SVM.

I'm wondering which Dell systems have Intel chips with VMX?

My thought is to purchase a Dell Precision 690 dual processor (two dual or
quad core processors) and 8 GB of RAM. This way Linux and Windows would
have 2 or 4 cores and 4 GB each.

I'm looking at a Dell Precision 390 with an Intel dual core 1.86 GHz
processor and don't see the VMX flag on, is this correct or am I missing the
flag some how?
