It is odd that the FN- keys dont work. There is no way to disable this
from software that I know of.

You can also go into BIOS setup to change this, in addition to the
previously-posted fix.

It may be that HAL isnt properly distinguishing between ac/battery modes
and might need to be enhanced/fixed.
